Less than a week ago twitter announced that they are planning to launch their very own 24/7 streaming videos channel on their platform. Well if you are a news person, this news is just for you as their video channel will be powered by Bloomberg.
For those who don’t know Bloomberg is; It is a privately held financial software, data, and media company headquartered in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.
It is expected to be launched this Fall and will be featuring “live news reporting” from Bloomberg news divisions.
“It is going to be focused on the most important news for an intelligent audience around the globe and it’s going to be broader in focus than our existing network.” Bloomberg Media’s chief executive officer, Justin Smith said.
Good News for Twitter Advertisers
This video channel will enable advertisers to buy 15-30 seconds’ peak time video ad spots to help grow their business, as well as allowing Twitter to make some real money from advertisements.

Twitter is expanding its video channel community by teaming up with a number of partners from different industries.
