Pakistanis are surely going to discuss the Champions trophy final for a long time. They deserve to do so as their team surprised everyone and collected the trophy and Champions title from arch-rivals India. It would have been a completely different story for the nation if Pakistan would have lost just days before Eid. Imagine the feeling when the thought of losing to India would have flashed through our minds on the day of Eid. It would have haunted the nation which is crazy with the love for the game. However, Pakistan will cherish the victory on 22ND of Ramadan for many years to come
JIT— Panama Papers Haunts Sharif Family
Panama Papers have caused a havoc for Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif after PTI chairman Imran Khan threatened to shut down Islamabad in case of no investigation against the Prime Minister. The Supreme Court formed a JIT on May 6, comprising officials from SECP, NAB, State Bank, ISI, and MI. The JIT summoned Nawaz Sharif, for investigation as well as summoned his son, Hussain Nawaz as well. Things are not looking good as JIT stated that they will not take Eid holidays except for day one and will continue work from day 2. It seems that all eyes will be on JIT on Eid as they dig deeper into investigation. It appears that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and company will find it difficult to relax on Eid as JIT looks to complete its work soon.
