All those who watched the game last night would agree to the fact that it seemed more like Messi vs Madrid instead of Barca vs Madrid.
Lionel Messi yet again proved himself as the maestro of football by finishing his super 500 goals streak in yesterday’s match against Real Madrid.
It was 2-2, a neck to neck competition where the soccer legend turned the game around with a third goal under his name at the very last minute and celebrated like a king as he always does. The only thing fans love more than his dribbling skills is his celebrating style as he tears his shirt up, runs for the corner flag and holds it aloft.
Twitter Is Celebrating Christmas
I am myself a die-hard Madridista but not appreciating last night’s game and Messi’s goal streak would be unjust to the game itself. The guy may not be the greatest of all times but he sure played like one yesterday, most certainly deserving of the internet title of “GOAT”.
For those who don’t know what “GOAT” is, it means “Greatest of all times”.
Fans seem to be basking in the spirit of Messi’s celebration.
The soccer sensation got a mouth injury less than a week ago while playing against Juventus, and comes back for more blood.
Soccer GOD, I mean GOAT…
Madrid Fans Meanwhile…
While Barca fans don’t seem to be able to contain their happiness, Madridistas have probably blocked their social media accounts to avoid sarcasm.
