They came, they sang and they conquered the heart…and here they come again.
Remember the famous Justin Girls who took everyone by surprise with their version of Justin Bieber’s song ‘Baby’. They are back again and are going ‘Waka Waka, this time for Pakistan’.
Justin girls performed with Nirmal Roy and Aqleema Dar for a fusion of English funk and Punjabi featuring Noor Jehan’s famous hits ‘Chal Challiye’ and ‘Sonay di Taveetri’ along with Shakira’s Waka Waka.

The song was released last Friday by Alhamra Unplugged, a project by Alhamra Arts Council backed by Government of Punjab. The aim of the show is to provide the youth of Pakistan a new platform to showcase their talents, just like Coke Studio and Nescafe Basement.
In this video, we can see that Justin sisters truly outshining the other artists. However, we think the fusion doesn’t go that well and a solo for Justin Girls with Punjabi fusion would have been much better. What do you think? Do you think they have done justice to Waka Waka?
