The day we all have been waiting for is finally here.
Instagram finally breaks free from it’s limitation. You can now upload all your Instagram photos from their mobile website without using the app but the photo editing option is limited though. You can only rotate them or toggle between the square or wide crop. However, you still need the mobile app to upload videos, stories, add filters, or send a direct message.
The desktop version of Instagram.com is still the same so for now, you can only use your mobile or tablets to upload photos from website. However, the mobile site has been customized and a compressed version of the explore page has been added unlike the previous version which only allows users to check notifications and feed.
Took them long enough but it sure seems like an innovative step towards making their social media platform more user-friendly and accessible by bringing the mobile app experience to their mobile site enabling their users to have a full flash Instagram experience regardless of which device they use.
“designed to help people have a fuller experience on Instagram no matter what device or network they are on.” Instagram officials told TechCrunch.
