Google Doodle Marks 140 Years of Wimbledon Championship

Google celebrates Wimbledon as the search engine rolled out a new Doodle to celebrate the 140th anniversary of the world’s oldest tennis tournament. The Doodle comprises a green background, which pays homage to grass courts where matches are played with two animated rackets. The letters of Google are forming the audience except for L, which denotes the match referee.  A bird is tucked away on the top right corner that suggests Rufus the Hawk, which responsibly prevents pigeons to land in the court during the match. Wimbledon 2017 is one of the most anticipated tournaments in the sports industry.
