Racing fan or not, there are less than a few people that aren’t drooling over the news of yet another banging chapter of the Fast & the Furious Saga; “Fate of the Furious”. Without a doubt this is one of the most hyped movie series ever to hit the Hollywood screens that has constantly been the apple of people’s eye for the last 16 years.
That’s right. Fast & the Furious 1st chapter came out 16 years ago back on 2001. Feel old yet?
The latest power packed addition to the fast and furious chronicle “fate of the furious” is expected to hit a hat trick by back to back releases of its 9th and 10th installments. Universal pictures and the star boy himself “Vin Diesel” announced this news declaring it a tribute to the late “Paul Walker” who tragically died in a car crash before the release of Fast 7. He added that it was Paul’s commitment to make an eight film for the franchise and “We never want to let Paul down”.
The movie is going to dazzle the theaters on April, 14 with a huge star cast including Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez and Scott Eastwood. Now for the past few days this movie has been a topic of gossip about the rumor that points out towards an ongoing rift between the two superstars of the Fast family; Dwayne Johnson, and Vin Diesel.
It all started with a tweet from The Rock which silently slams male co stars of the movie on social media without pinpointing anyone in specific.
But the audience is too smart to be confused and reached the conclusion that by male co stars, what Dwayne actually wants to scream politely is Vin Diesel’s name.
However, Vin has poured oil on troubled waters by ditching the rumors in a single blow.
While there’s a chance of an actual ongoing rift between the two actors, it could be nothing more than just a publicity stunt. A smart guy once said; “There is no such thing as bad publicity”. Ain’t that the truth?
As 14th April is coming closer, fans are feeling an increasing adrenaline rush like no other. Is the “Fate of the Furious” fated to be a block buster or is it going to be just another over hyped movie with a big budget and huge star cast, that is yet to see.
