Hear hear… Apple has finally fulfilled its one year old commitment… You finally got a bigger sized remote for your Apple TV app.
The latest 1.1 apple TV application update supports your iPad at last bringing TV controls, chapter selection, and captions to a larger screen. But that’s just not it. You can also control your Apple TV viewing using voice commands on Siri. All you gotta do is hold the microphone button on the app’s UI to search, select, pause, and play your media.
However you cannot control the viewing directly from your pad’s screen. We might have to wait another year or two to get that feature enabled as it took Apple a year longer than what they committed to bring Apple TV Remote capabilities to iPad.
